Funding Research and Awareness for Ovarian Cancer

KOH Tenth Anniversary Celebration Brunch

Tickets are now available online. Click here.

On Sunday, October 10, 2010, the Kaleidoscope of Hope Foundation will hold our Tenth Anniversary Celebration Brunch, “A Zeal for Teal,” at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick as we proudly salute healthcare professionals dedicated to the care of women with ovarian cancer.  In 2000, the Kaleidoscope of Hope Foundation was founded by three ovarian cancer survivors who transformed their own battles with the disease to establish a dynamic organization whose mission is to raise funds for ovarian cancer research and increase awareness of the symptoms of the disease.  Over the past ten years, we have raised over $1.7 million dollars through annual walkathons, golf outings and our annual Spring Gala/Silent Auction.

All proceeds from this event will support and fund research initiatives aimed at finding early detection as well as improved treatment options.  To highlight this milestone year, our event will honor medical professionals who have devoted their careers to research initiatives whose goal is to improve and extend the lives of women dealing with ovarian cancer.

Our esteemed honorees are George Coukos, MD, PhD, Director, Ovarian Cancer Research Center, University of Pennylvania Abramson Cancer Center, Lorna Rodriguez, MD, PhD, Chief of Gynecologic Oncology, The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Brian Slomovitz, MD, Gynecologist Oncologist, Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, Daniel H. Smith, MD, Gynecologist Oncologist, Holy Name Hospital, Mario M. Leitao, Jr., MD, FACOG, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Darlene Gibbon, MD, Clinical Director of Gynecologic Oncology, The Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

We are thrilled to have the acclaimed writer and performer, Jenny Allen, as the MC of “A Zeal for Teal” brunch.  Jenny is an ovarian cancer survivor whose show, “I Got Sick Then I Got Better,” has received rave reviews.

Please review our Sponsorship document.   We will accept Sponsorships, Journal Ads and Silent Auction items through October 1st.   If you need more information or have any questions, please contact Lois M. Myers, Executive Director, at 973 984-5081 or loismmyers@verizon.net.

With your generous support, please know you will be making a tremendous difference in the lives of women and their loved ones who are living with ovarian cancer.
