Past Events

Since 2000, we have been raising money and awareness about ovarian cancer with events in the greater New Jersey area. Some of our past events include our September walkathons, golf outings, awareness events, and the annual Spring Gala, where we award grants to researchers in hopes of finding a cure and advancing treatments for ovarian cancer.

• November 2011 - Lyndhurst Board of Education hosts school-wide walkathon and raises over $16,000!

• 2011 AVON Walkathon 9/24/11— JERSEY SHORE GROUP RAISES $$$ FOR OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH AND AWARENESS

• August 2011 Long Island Tennis Fundraiser donates over $4,000 to KOH!

• June 2011 Pinch Brook Ladies once again hosts their annual golf outing. This year these fabulous ladies donated over $2,000 to KOH!

• May 2011 Diane Castle Memorial Golf Outing — THE CASTLE FAMILY AND FRIENDS raised over $44,000 for ovarian cancer research and awareness! This is an annual event that the Castle Family lovingly and tiredlessly organizes and hosts.

• May 2011 - Kaleidoscope of Hope 2011 Spring Gala — attendees enjoyed the celebration and presentation of awards and 2011 grants. 

• APRIL 2011 - Lyndhurst Women's Club Tea—

• 2010 La Cage aux Folles "Female Impersonator" show — THE CASTLE FAMILY AND FRIENDS organized this event for the 2nd year. Held on 10/29/10 it was once again a hillarious and fun filled evening which raised $$$ for ovarian cancer research and awareness.

• 10th Anniversary Brunch — A ZEAL FOR TEAL was held on 10/10/10 where KOH celebrated it's 10th year with a proud salute to healthcare professionals dedicated to the care of women with ovarian cancer and honor medical professionals who have devoted their careers to research initiatives whose goal is to improve and extend the lives of women dealing with ovarian cancer.

• KARAOKE FOR KOH — On Friday August 13, 2010 the Monmouth Medical Center Ovarian Cancer Support Group led by Leslie Shephard held a Karaoke Night fundraiser at the Hope Presbyterian Church in Tinton Falls to raise funds for the Kaleidoscope of Hope Foundation. Friends and family shared food and song and helped to raise awareness of the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer. A silent auction helped to raise over $3500 for KOH.

• Kaleidoscope of Hope 2010 Sprig Gala — Hosted by Gary Fisch of Gary's Wine attendees enjoyed the celebration and presentation of awards and 2010 grants.

• 2009 Avon Walkathon — JERSEY SHORE GROUP RAISES $90,000 FOR OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH AND AWARENESS

• 2009 Lyndhurst Walkathon — LYNDHURST GROUP RAISES $34,000 FOR OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH AND AWARENESS

• 2009 Morris Group Walkathon — MORRIS COUNTY GROUP RAISES $70,000 FOR OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH AND AWARENESS

• Kaleidoscope of Hope 2009 Spring Gala — NJ OVARIAN CANCER FOUNDATION HONORS NEW JERSEY ONCOLOGY PRACTICE, PRESENTS $200,000 TO RESEARCHERS, ADVOCATES.

• Kaleidoscope of Hope Golf Tournaments 2008 — The Kaleidoscope of Hope Foundation raises thousands of dollars for ovarian cancer research through a pair of Northern New Jersey golf tournaments.
